Now he has rolled out audio-video call feature on his social media app X, a feature which is currently available only on iOS and will soon be available on Android also. Premium subscribers will be able to make audio-video calls. Whereas other users will only be able to receive calls. Musk told through X post that this is the initial version of audio-video calling. To enable the feature on x, you have to go to Settings. Now tap on Privacy and Safety. In this, the option of direct messages will be available. Enable audio and video calling in direct messages. Once the feature is enabled, you can choose who can call you. Verified users, people you follow or people in your address book.
Process to make an audio or video call on iOS
Tap the envelope icon. You will be directed to the messages. Then tap on an existing DM conversation or start a new conversation. Now tap the phone icon to start an audio or video call.
Now tap on Audio Call to start the audio call. Tap Video Call to start a video call. The account on which you make the call will receive a notification.
How to manage audio-video calls?
According to the information, during an audio call, you have to tap on the audio icon to put the call on speaker. You can mute or unmute your microphone by tapping the microphone icon. During a video call, you can switch between the front or back camera by tapping the flip camera icon. To turn off speaker mode, you have to tap the audio icon. Tapping the camera icon will turn off the camera.

Earlier, Elon Musk had said in August that X users would be able to make video and audio calls through the platform without sharing their phone number. Now they have rolled out this feature.
