Mumbai. Currently many people are pursuing various types of education, but very few get jobs. Meanwhile, if you want a guaranteed job, there is a course being run by IIT Roorkee. Doing this course gives you a job guarantee. And most interestingly, this course is only for six months and most of the students get jobs from the campus after this course. If a student is unable to get a job due to any reason, he is offered a paid internship first and then a job. Students of any engineering stream (except B.Tech CS and IT) can pursue this course. One exemption in this course is that if one has done engineering 5 years ago, and has not got a job, he can avail this course.

Course called Project Management and Controls

IIT Roorkee has planned dozens of courses in collaboration with industry. A six-month course called Project Management and Controls has been started. After completing this course, young engineers can get direct placement in the posts of Project Engineer, Planning Engineer, Scheduling Engineer, Cost Control Engineer and Invoice Billing Engineer. Candidates who have passed engineering 5 years ago can also take admission in this course. According to Professor Kaushik Ghosh, Coordinator, IIT Roorkee CEC, we have created this program in collaboration with Protecon. Our faculty and industry experts will prepare young engineers so that they can stand on their own feet. Its classes will be held at IIT Roorkee's Greater Noida campus. Placement support will be provided from here.

Course is available both offline and online

This course is available both offline and online. Job guarantee is available only with offline courses. Most of the young engineers get jobs only after a six-month course. If anyone survives for any reason, Protecon will give him a six-month paid internship. Interviews and training will also continue during this period. Even after this, if any engineer is not able to get a job, we will give him a job as soon as the internship is completed.

How much will the course fee be?

So far as the fee is concerned, it is determined in two ways. If students want a job guarantee, they will have to pay a fee of Rs 2.25 lakh including GST. If the students do not want job guarantee then the fee for them will be Rs 1.05 lakh. GST will also have to be paid on this.
