Mumbai. On Sunday, April 30, 2023, air passengers traveling by domestic air set a record when their number reached historical high levels in a single day. On this day, a total of 456082 passengers have traveled by air in a single day, which is a record. Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia gave this information in a tweet. He said that on 30 April 2023, a record 4,56,082 domestic air passengers flew, which is a record after Kovid. So on 27 April 2023, 3054 domestic flights took off which is a new record. The Civil Aviation Minister tweeted that the Indian civil aviation sector is setting new records everyday. Post-Covid, the skyrocketing number of domestic air passengers is a sign of India's rising growth and prosperity.

Witnessed 5947 flights movement

On 30 April 2023, a record 4,56,082 domestic air passengers flew on 2978 flights. According to the ministry, a total of 5947 flights have been moved on that day. There has been a tremendous recovery in domestic air traffic since the Corona epidemic. Before the Corona epidemic, the average number of domestic passengers was 3,98,579. According to the IATA report, in terms of passenger load factor, India is ahead of countries like America, China and Japan.

Fares are expensive yet the number of air passengers increased
