Mumbai. Only a few years ago, India's topmost industrialist Mukesh Ambani had launched Reliance Jio that completely changed the telecom industry with cheaper plans and due to this move, many private players were thrown out of the market. At present, there are three telecom companies including Jio in the market. Mukesh Ambani is going to make a similar bet in his FMCG segment as well. With the relaunch of brands like Campa in the market, Reliance has now created difficulties for the already existing FMCG companies by making the prices of many products cheaper by 30-35 percent.
Cheaper than Pepsi and Coke
Recently, the prices of all the three flavors of Campa are much lower than those of Pepsi and Coke. According to experts, this step by Reliance can create a lot of problems for many companies. The reason for this is that in view of inflation, people will be attracted by Reliance's low price policy and would like to buy them. If the customers feel that the quality is better, then they will use the products again, otherwise not. At present, the products of RCPL, a subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, are available in only a few markets. The company is engaged in setting up a dealership network to take these products to the pan India level.
To set up a dedicated distribution network
If experts are to be believed, Reliance is preparing to set up a dedicated distribution network. In which modern B2B channels will also be added along with traditional dealers and stockists. Reliance has been eyeing the $110 billion sector for a long time. At present, companies like Hindustan Unilever, P&G and Nestle have holdings in this sector. On the other hand, Tata is also preparing to enter this sector completely. It is clear that paving the way for Mukesh Ambani is not going to be that easy. On the other hand, Reliance has launched products ranging from bath soap to detergent powder and dish bar, also known as Bernat washing soap, in the market. Whose prices are 30 to 35 percent less than other companies. Apart from this, Reliance has launched Campa in the market with three new flavors. Due to which Pepsi and Coke can get a big challenge.
