Mumbai. The country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched the country's first sub-compact SUV with a factory-fitted CNG kit. Maruti Suzuki has introduced the Brezza CNG with its S-CNG technology. The company claims that this car will give a mileage of 25.51 Km/kg on CNG fuel. The company has launched the new Maruti Suzuki Brezza S-CNG in 4 variants at a starting price of Rs 9.14 lakh. The bookings for the car are open, customers can book it by paying a token amount of Rs.25,000. According to media reports, the company can start the delivery of the car in three to four months. The Brezza CNG was first unveiled by Maruti at the Auto Expo-2023 in Delhi.

Brezza S-CNG: Engine and color options

The Brezza S-CNG is powered by the same K-series 1.5L Dual Jet, Dual VVT bi-fuel engine as the petrol variant. This engine generates 87.7 PS of power and 121.5 Nm of peak torque on CNG mode, while it generates maximum power of 100.6 PS and 136.5Nm of torque on petrol mode. This engine is tuned with 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic (AMT) gearboxes. Brezza S-CNG comes in Splendid Silver, Sizzling Red, Exuberant Blue, Pearl Arctic White and Magma Gray color options.
