According to the Henry Passport Index, this year Singapore's passport has emerged as the most powerful passport in the world. With a Singapore passport, you can travel without a visa to 192 countries in the world. Japan has now slipped to the third position in the list. With a Japanese passport, you can travel to 189 countries without a visa. Germany, Italy and Spain are the 3 countries of Europe in second place in this list. People having passports of these three countries can travel without visa to 190 countries of the world. Along with Japan, there are also passports of Austria, Finland, France, Luxembourg, South Korea and Sweden at number three.
India's ranked at 80
India's place in this ranking is 80th. People holding Indian passports can travel without visa to 57 countries of the world. At the same time, India shares its ranking with countries like Senegal and Togo. In this list, India's neighboring country China's ranking is 63, while Pakistan's ranking is 100. People of China can travel without visa in 80 countries and people of Pakistan in 33 countries. The most powerful passport of a country depends on how many countries it gets visa free entry.
Know the top-5 countries
According to the ranking of passports, the fourth most powerful passport is from Denmark, Ireland, Netherlands and the United Kingdom. The people of these countries can travel visa free in 188 countries. On the other hand, people holding passports of Belgium, Czech Republic, Malta, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal and Switzerland can travel without a visa to 187 countries. It is at 5th position in the ranking.
