Russia's all-time favorite Indian film
Despite being in its third week of release, 'Pushpa: The Rise' has entered the race to become Russia's all-time favorite Indian film. The film was released in Russia on 8 December. The Allu Arjun and Rashmika Madanna-starrer was released on 774 screens. Since then there has been no reduction in the number of screens and the film has so far collected Rs 1.02 crore. Earning Rs 11 crore for any big Indian film should not seem like an easy task. But it is a big thing for an Indian film to earn so much after being dubbed in Russian language. The reason is that Russia has not been such a big market for Indian films in the last few years as China or Japan have emerged.
Surpassed War collection
Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's 'War' has been the highest collection till date in an Indian film dubbed in Russian. It earned Rs 1.7 crore. However, going by the current trends of Pushpa: The Rise, the film is expected to surpass these numbers and very soon become the highest grossing Indian film ever dubbed in Russian. Let us tell you that Allu Arjun's film was released in the Russian dubbed version on 8 December. After winning the hearts of audiences in Moscow and St.Petersburg, it is now being loved across the country. It is one of the few Indian films to be released in Russia and the film has been warmly received by the Russian audience. Along with this, the audience is also eagerly waiting for Pushpa 2.
