Talking about the history of Air India, it started in April 1932 and was founded by visionary industrialist JRD Tata. At that time the name used to be Tata Airlines. JRD Tata flew an airplane for the first time in 1919 as a hobby at the age of just 15, but the hobby became a passion and JRD Tata took his pilot's license.
Several achievements in the last one year

Ahmedabad to Mumbai via Karachi
The airline's first commercial flight was made on 15 October 1932. Then there was only single engine 'Haviland Paas Moth' airplane, which went from Ahmedabad to Mumbai via Karachi. At that time there was not a single passenger in the plane but there were 25 kg letters. The letters were brought from London to Karachi by 'Imperial Airways'.
