Mumbai. Due to the incessant setback to the shares, Adani Group has now slipped to number four in terms of market capitalization. The market capitalization of its 11 companies stood at Rs 15.02 lakh crore on Friday which was Rs 19.20 lakh crore on Tuesday. resultantly, there has been a decline of Rs 2.18 lakh crore in two days. Adani Transmission, Total Gas saw the biggest single-day decline since March 2020 on Friday. In April, the group's Green Energy, Transmission and Enterprises raised Rs 115.5 billion from Abu Dhabi's IHC.
Tata group tops in the list
Tata group is now at number one in terms of market capitalisation with Rs 21.58 lakh crore. Reliance Group with Rs 16.09 lakh crore is at second place and HDFC Group with Rs 15.54 lakh crore is at third place. The total capitalization of the Adani group as on 17 September was Rs 21.99 lakh crore while the capitalization of Tata companies stood at Rs 20.70 lakh crore. At number three was Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Group, which has a capitalization of Rs 17.22 lakh crore.
