Alphabet Inc, the parent company of the world's largest search engine Google, is preparing to lay off 12,000 employees. According to reports, the company's CEO Sundar Pichai has apologized taking full responsibility for the retrenchment. It can be gauged from the retrenchment on such a large scale that the technology industry is in the middle of a big danger. At the same time, Google's rival company Microsoft Corp has also said that it will lay off 10,000 employees. Pichai further wrote that he takes full responsibility for this decision, and apologizes to everyone. Google said that these layoffs will affect the employees of the whole world including America from now on. This news has come at a time when the tech sector is facing economic difficulties and is moving forward on some innovations. Google and Microsoft are investing on some software known as Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI).
