Prime Minister Narendra Modi held discussions with economists and experts and took their suggestions ahead of the presentation of his government's last full budget. In NITI Aayog, the Prime Minister interacted with renowned economists of the country. On this occasion, the Prime Minister said that despite the risks, the emerging global environment offers new and different types of opportunities in areas such as digitization, energy, health and agriculture. The theme of this meeting held at NITI Aayog was India's Growth & Resilience Amidst Global Headwinds. In the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized the need for out-of-the-box thinking for the public and private sector to take advantage of the opportunities arising in the wake of the emerging global situation.

The Prime Minister lauded the success of India's digital story and the rapid adoption of fintech across the country. The Prime Minister has also called for continuing efforts to enable and promote women's participation in the workforce while underlining women power as a key driver of India's development. The economists present in the meeting gave suggestions on their behalf to maintain the pace of India's development. These economists gave their suggestions on subjects ranging from agriculture to manufacturing. Economists said that India has emerged as the shining star of the world due to its resilience and resilience in times of crisis.
