Prime Minister Narendra Modi held discussions with economists and experts and took their suggestions ahead of the presentation of his government's last full budget. In NITI Aayog, the Prime Minister interacted with renowned economists of the country. On this occasion, the Prime Minister said that despite the risks, the emerging global environment offers new and different types of opportunities in areas such as digitization, energy, health and agriculture. The theme of this meeting held at NITI Aayog was India's Growth & Resilience Amidst Global Headwinds. The Prime Minister has also called for continuing efforts to enable and promote women's participation in the workforce while underlining women power as a key driver of India's development. The economists present in the meeting gave suggestions on their behalf to maintain the pace of India's development. These economists gave their suggestions on subjects ranging from agriculture to manufacturing. Economists said that India has emerged as the shining star of the world due to its resilience and resilience in times of crisis.
