Mumbai. In the era of rapidly developing technology, several powered-products are being launched everyday. Taking this trend forward, the world's fastest electric car pure-electric Hyper GT 'Battista' was introduced on February 9 at the ongoing E-Motor Show in Hyderabad. This car takes just 1.86 seconds to reach 0 to 100 kmph in real world conditions, which is an official record. It sounds strange for the first time, but it is true. This car takes only 4.75 seconds to reach the speed of 0 to 200 km/h. The company has worked on the stability and braking of the car. The company claims that the car can be stopped at a speed of 100 to 0 in a distance of 31 meters. The car is designed and developed by the Indian auto maker company Mahindra & Mahindra wholly owned Italian luxury car brand Automobili Pininfarina. This electric car will participate in the first-ever E Grand Prix event in India, which has started from 11 February.
Max speed of 350 km/h
Talking about its features, it is quite advanced from the rest of the cars. That's why whoever saw it once in the motor show kept on seeing it. The Battista gets separate motors to power all four wheels, which gives a combined power output of 1400 kw. Together, these motors generate 1900 bhp power and 2300 Nm torque. The top speed of the car is 350 km/h. The Battista is programmed with five different drive modes.
Pure-Electric Battery
The car is powered by a 120 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that gives a range of 476 km on a single full charge. The entire body and chassis of the Hyper GT Battista have been made out of carbon fibre. It takes more than 1,250 hours to assemble one model of the car. The company will make only 150 units of this car. Its starting price is Rs 19.45 crore.
