Mumbai. Every year lakhs of people from India go in search of jobs abroad. It is generally seen that low-skilled workers migrate to the Gulf countries. Countries like Europe, America, Canada and Australia are the preferred destinations of high-skilled workers. At the same time, many countries are witnessing shortage of workers and skilled specialist people. These countries include Germany, Austria, Sweden, UAE and Portugal. These countries are now turning towards India to meet the labor shortage and have decided to issue a 'Job Seeker Visa' to give opportunities to Indians for jobs abroad. Job Seeker Visa will allow Indians to travel to the respective countries. Not only this, they can go here to search for jobs, give interviews and do other necessary activities. Once a candidate gets a job, he/she will have to apply for a work permit visa. Through this they will get a chance to stay in the respective country.
Indians are in demand in Germany
A developed country is looking for four lakh skilled workers. This country is Germany. The aging population in Germany is quite high and therefore this country is facing a severe shortage of 4 lakh skilled workers. In such a way this country is looking towards India to fulfill its important needs. The Consul General of Germany in Mumbai Achim Faibig said that his country needs skilled workers like nurses, electricians and solar utility technicians for the jobs available there. According to an official spokesperson, Faibig said this during a meeting with Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais. Faibig said that one-third of Germany's investment in India is now in Maharashtra, where 300 of his country's 800 companies are operating.
The population of Germany is about 8.25 crores
Faibig said that the visa section of the German Consulate in Mumbai is the third largest in the world and will soon take two steps to become the largest in the world. Faibig said that even though India has a long-standing relationship, the people of both countries need to understand each other's country in the modern context. A highly developed economy, Germany's population is about 8.25 crores, or about two-thirds of Maharashtra's 12 crores. It has the third oldest population in the world with an average age of 48 years compared to India's average limit of 28 years.
