Mumbai. Here is good news for Brand Tata lovers as the Tata Group has once again been declared India's most valuable brand. According to the Brand Finance India-100 2024 report released on Thursday (27 June), the brand value of Tata Group has grown by 9% to 28.6 billion dollars which is equivalent to Rs 2.38 lakh crore. This growth in the brand value of Tata Group has been seen due to strong focus on digitalization, e-commerce, electric vehicles and electronics. Savio D'Souza, Senior Director, Brand Finance, has attributed the growth in Tata's value to its continuous tough organizational changes, digital transformation and adoption of advanced technology. According to the market experts, Tata's brand value has also benefited from sponsorship of the Indian Premier League i.e. IPL, aeronautical rebranding, Westside and Tata Consumer Products, including the development of its retail sector.
Infosys at No 2
According to the report, Infosys is India's second most valuable brand after Tata. Infosys' brand value has reached $14.2 billion i.e. Rs 1.18 lakh crore. Owing to its continued efforts to maintain its reputation and its focus on improving services, Tata can become the first Indian brand to reach the figure of $ 30 billion (Rs 2.50 lakh crore), which shows the growing confidence in the Indian economy.
HDFC Group ranks 3rd
HDFC Group is at number three with a brand value of $10.4 billion or say Rs 86 thousand crore. The merger of HDFC Limited and HDFC Bank has seen an increase in the brand value of HDFC Group. LIC Group, Reliance Industries, SBI Group, Airtel, HCL Tech, Larsen & Toubro, Mahindra and Jetwerk are also included in the top Indian brands. HCL Tech has reached number 8 due to strategic investments in emerging technology and services.
L&T at number 9 in the list of top Indian brands
Larsen & Toubro is at number 9 in the list of top Indian brands due to its focus on efficiency and operational excellence in many of its sectors. Jetwerk is at number 64 in the overall ranking and second among engineering brands with a brand value of $ 543 million. Founded just six years ago, Jetwerk has become a leader in manufacturing excellence. Jetwerk uses technology to provide services in many sectors such as renewable energy, defense, automotive and core engineering.
