According to a report, the market cap of Microsoft-Apple is $6.14 trillion (about Rs 512 lakh crore) while the overall market cap of BSE is $5.06 trillion (about ₹423 lakh crore). At the same time, the market cap of Microsoft, Apple and Nvidia is $9.2 trillion (₹768 lakh crore) while the market cap of China's Shanghai Stock Exchange is $9 trillion (₹768 lakh crores).
AI products helps Microsoft
Microsoft has invested in OpenAI and is implementing AI in its products and services. Due to this, Microsoft's shares have climbed more than 15% in the last 6 months, which has led to a jump in the company's market cap. Apple's stock saw a decline in the month of March this year. However, now there has been a slight recovery in it and in the last 6 months, Apple's stock has risen only 1.92%. At the same time, it has jumped 7.56% in one month. Last week, semiconductor chip maker Nvidia surpassed Apple to become the world's second most valuable company. Nvidia's market cap had reached $3.01 trillion. Its stock has gained 212% in the last one year.

Interestingly, Tim Cook-led Apple was the first US company to reach a market cap of $3 trillion in January 2022. Microsoft achieved this milestone in 2024. Nvidia, on the other hand, crossed the market cap of $2 trillion in February 2024, and it took only three months to reach $3 trillion.
