Mumbai. Once again, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government has taken over at New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has been constantly giving the slogan of 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas', has not made a single Muslim MP a minister in his jumbo cabinet this time. The 140 crore population of which he is the Pradhan Sevak, has not a single representation of about 15 percent of that population. Therefore, 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas' is seen as a hollow slogan. In this country, be it Muslims, Sikhs or Christians, all together contribute to the country's 140 crore population. Whether it is the development of the country or any other matter, the government cannot be run by neglecting a particular community in this way.
BJP always sidelines Muslims
Whenever elections come, the same BJP and Modi give all kinds of slogans and temptations to get votes. In this election, the amount of Hindu-Muslim politics that these people played is probably the result of the fact that they have been taught a lesson. This time, due to the reduction in seats in a big state like UP, BJP has felt that it can also lose. The way BJP gave the false slogan of crossing 400, that slogan has also proved to be a failure. Leave aside the alliance, BJP itself has been far away from the majority this time. This is the same BJP, which Narendra Modi never accepted defeat in his political life. This is the first time when he had to accept defeat. Smriti Irani's defeat from a seat like Amethi has proved that the public cannot be deceived for a long time.
Even Modi's victory was not sure
First of all, if Rahul Gandhi or Priyanka Gandhi had contested from the seat of Banaras, Narendra Modi could have been defeated. It is a different matter that Ajay Rai gave a tough fight to Modi and his victory of 4.5 lakh was reduced to just 1.5 lakh. In a country with diversity like India, Narendra Modi's stature has grown so much because of this kind of politics. But now, albeit late, the light of his pivot is slowly fading away. Now even he knows that nothing will happen with this kind of politics. In the entire election, he never asked for votes in the name of his 10 years of work. Along with badmouthing the Congress and creating Hindu-Muslim divide, he asked for votes in a threatening tone. He has also abused the same Nehru whose record Modi is equalling. In such a situation, Narendra Modi has now come out of that charisma, on the basis of which he wanted to remain invincible.
