The customer can switch between the two fuels by pressing a button. During the inauguration event, the Union Minister Nitin Gadkari claimed that the cost of running a CNG two-roller would be around Rs 1 per kilometer.
Killing two birds with one stone
By introducing a CNG bike in the market, the company has tried to kill two birds with one stone. First of all, this can significantly reduce the cost of fuel and along with this, carbon emissions will also be reduced. There are two fuel options for running the bike i.e. 2 liter petrol tank and 2 kg CNG tank. Filling both of them once will give a journey of 330 km. The rider can switch from CNG to petrol and petrol to CNG with a single button. Bajaj Auto has also started booking for Bajaj Freedom 125. The price of the base 'drum' variant of the bike starts at Rs 95,000. Customers can book this bike through the company's website and authorized showrooms.
