Mumbai. The market capitalization of seven of the top 10 Sensex companies shot up to a total of Rs 1,01,043.69 crore last week in which Reliance Industries (RIL) and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) surfaced as biggest gainers. Last week, the 30-share BSE Sensex gained 764.37 points or 1.33 per cent and the market capitalization of Reliance Industries climbed up by Rs 37,581.61 crore to Rs 16,46,182.66 crore. At the same time, the market valuation of TCS saw a jump of Rs 22,082.37 crore and it stood at Rs 11,21,480.95 crore.
Which companies were gainer
The market position of Infosys increased by Rs 16,263.25 crore to Rs 6,10,871.36 crore. At the same time, the market capitalization of ICICI Bank stood at Rs 6,14,589.87 crore with a profit of Rs 13,433.27 crore. Whereas, the market valuation of HDFC has increased by Rs 6,733.19 crore to Rs 4,22,810.22 crore. HDFC Bank's market position increased by Rs 4,623.07 crore to Rs 7,96,894.04 crore. The market capitalization of Bajaj Finance stood at Rs 4,44,563.66 crore with an increase of Rs 326.93 crore.
And which companies were losers ?
The market capitalization of Hindustan Unilever (HUL) declined by Rs 23,025.99 crore to Rs 6,10,623.53 crore. Bharti Airtel's market position declined by Rs 3,532.65 crore to Rs 4,41,386.80 crore. At the same time, the market valuation of State Bank of India (SBI) has come down to Rs 4,73,316.78 crore with a loss of Rs 624.73 crore. Reliance Industries has remained in the first place in the list of top-10 companies. It is followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Infosys, Hindustan Unilever, SBI, Bajaj Finance, Bharti Airtel and HDFC respectively.
