Mumbai. There has been an increase in the GST collection in the last month i.e. September. There has been a GST collection of 1.47 lakh crore in September, which is more than the 1.44 lakh crore rupees in August. It has seen a growth of 26% on a year-on-year (YOY) basis. In September 2021, the GST collection was Rs 1.17 lakh crore. The biggest GST collection so far has been in the month of April. In April, there was a GST collection of Rs 1.67 lakh crore.
Record of GST collection was made in April
This was the first time in April 2022 when the GST collection crossed Rs 1.5 lakh crore. Gross GST revenue was recorded at Rs 1,67,540 crore in April. Of this, CGST was Rs 33,159 crore, SGST was Rs 41,793 crore, IGST was Rs 81,939 crore and cess was Rs 10,649 crore.
These states topped in GST collection

4 slabs of GST
There are four slabs in GST of 5, 12, 18 and 28%. However, gold and gold jewelry attract a tax of 3%. There are also some unbranded and unpacked products which do not attract GST.
