Mumbai. Buying Tata Motors cars is going to be more expensive now. The company said that Tata Motors is going to increase the prices of passenger vehicles by 0.90%. These increased prices will be applicable from November 7. Tata's passenger vehicle segment has cars like Safari, Harrier, Altroz, Nexon, Tiago and Tigor. This is the fourth time in this year that Tata Motors has increased the prices of its vehicles. According to Tata Motors, the prices of its passenger vehicles will be increased by an average of 0.90%. However, how much the prices will increase, it is according to the variant and model i.e. the prices of all the vehicles will increase separately. Tata Motors had earlier increased the prices in July also due to increase in cost. The prices of passenger vehicles were increased by 0.55%.

Earlier in April also, the prices were increased by about 1.1%. Not only this, earlier in January 2022, the company had increased by 0.9% on the basis of different models and variants. At that time also the prices were increased due to increase in input cost. In October 2022, the total sales of Tata Motors stood at 78,335 units, a growth of 15.49% on a year-on-year basis. In the same period last year, the company sold 67,829 vehicles. In the month of October, Tata Motors' total domestic sales grew by 17% year-on-year to 76,537 units. Which was 65,151 units in the month of October 2021. In October 2022, Tata Motors sold a total of 45,423 passenger vehicles in the domestic market including electric vehicles. Whereas in October 2021, the company sold a total of 34,155 passenger vehicles in the domestic market. Tata Motors launched the EV variant of its popular hatchback Tata Tiago at the end of September. Its starting price is Rs 8.49 lakh. This is the cheapest electric car in the country. This EV will get a range of 315 km in a single charge.
