After CEO Parag Agarwal was fired, it is another Indian who is calling the shots of micro-blogging sites, Yes, Indian-origin Sriram Krishnan, on whom Elon Musk has reposed trust in him, is taking all decisions. Sriram Krishnan has been camping at Twitter's San Francisco headquarters since October 30, while Musk has moved to New York and all major decisions are being taken under his supervision. An engineer by profession, Krishnan is known for investing in startups. So far he has made 23 such investments and on October 4, he did a similar seed round – for Lasso Labs. Krishnan primarily invests in crypto and web companies.

Sriram Krishnan joined Twitter in 2017 after working for top companies in Silicon Valley and headed the Core Consumer Product team here. During this year, Twitter was able to increase user growth by 20%. He had to do important tasks like Twitter's home timeline, new user experience, search, discovery and audience growth. He was associated with Twitter till 2019 and relaunched the home page. Along with this, he has also been in important roles in Yahoo Company. He has also been on the boards of several companies such as Bitsky, Hopepin and Polyworks. In 2021 he joined Andreessen Horewitz. He is a major investor in Clubhouse. Clubhouse is a social audio app that was released in 2020.
Silicon Valley's Power Couples
Like Krishnan, his wife Aarti Ramamurthy is also from Chennai and both met while doing engineering. Earlier, the two embarked on a friendship while chatting on Yahoo. The 37-year-old couple live in Noe Valley, San Francisco and have a 2-year-old daughter. Aarti Ramamurthy has worked at companies such as Netflix and Facebook and started the start-ups True & Company and Lumoid. In early 2021, Krishnan and his wife Aarti Ramamurthy launched a clubhouse talk show, The Good Time Show. The show has been designed keeping in mind the start-ups, capitalists and people involved in cryptocurrencies. Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Tony Hawk, Diane von Furstenberg, Kanye West and social media influencer Mr. Beast have joined guests on the show. Due to this show, both of them are known as Silicon Valley power couple.
