Mumbai. Buoyed by strong business this Diwali festive season, traders across the country including Delhi are now preparing themselves for a second bonanza. Actually, the wedding season will run from November 14 to December 14. In this they will earn a lot of money. According to a survey conducted by the CAIT Research and Trade Development Society, there will be around 32 lakh marriages across the country in this period, with an estimated Rs 3.75 lakh crore of purchases and business. CAIT (CAT) said that during the season about 5 lakh weddings will cost an estimated Rs 3 lakh each, while around 10 lakh weddings will cost around Rs 5 lakh each. Rs 10 lakh for one million weddings, Rs 25 lakh for 5 lakh weddings, Rs 50 lakh for 50,000 weddings and another 50 thousand weddings that cost Rs 1 crore or more.

Next phase will start from January 14, 2023

The survey has revealed that around Rs 3.75 lakh crore will flow into the markets from the purchase of weddings in this one month. The next phase of the wedding season will start from January 14, 2023 and will continue till July. CAIT said that in Delhi alone more than 3.5 lakh weddings are expected in this upcoming season, which is likely to generate a business of around Rs 75,000 crore. Around 25 lakh marriages took place in the same period last year and it was estimated to cost Rs 3 lakh crore. CAIT said that considering the good business prospects of the wedding season, traders across the country have made elaborate preparations as they want to continue with the sentiments emanating from the record business figures for Diwali this year.

All venues are getting bookings 

Banquet halls, hotels, open lawns, community centers, public parks, farm houses and many other types of venues are all set for weddings across the country. In addition to the purchase of accessories for each wedding, a variety of services are also included, including tent decorator, flower decoration, crockery, catering service, travel service, cab service, reception professional groups, vegetable vendors, photographers, videographer, orchestra. DJ, Horse for procession, wagons, lights and many more services are likely to do big business this time, along with event management has also emerged as a big business prospect.
