Price started increasing from last Tuesday
Notably, since the month of November last year, the prices of petrol and diesel had not increased. After this, the price of oil started increasing from last Tuesday. After increasing the price for two days, the oil companies did not increase the prices on the third day. Now on the fourth day, for the third time, the price of oil has increased again by 80 paise.
In Mumbai, diesel Rs 112.51 per liter
According to IOCL, the price of petrol in the country's financial capital Mumbai has gone up to Rs 112.51 per liter and diesel to Rs 96.70 per liter. Apart from this, petrol is being sold at Rs 107.18 per liter in Kolkata, while diesel is being sold for Rs 92.22.
Indian Oil bought crude oil from Russia
Explain that during the war between Russia and Ukraine, India is buying oil from Russia at a discount rate. Indian Oil has completed the purchase of a large consignment of crude oil on Wednesday. Along with this, the company has also bought West African Oil in large quantities. The country's largest petroleum company Indian Oil has purchased 3 million barrels of crude oil from Russia for May. While 20 lakh barrels of West African oil have been bought.
