Mumbai. Axis Bank has launched the 'House Work Is Work' initiative- under this- the bank is offering opportunities to women who want to restart their career again as a professional. The idea behind this initiative is to assure women that they are still employable, have the skills and are fit for a variety of jobs in a bank. Rajkamal Vempati, President and HR Head, Axis Bank, said in an interaction on the bank's recent hiring plan - 'HouseWorkIsWork' that it is an initiative to bring these women back to work. For this a minimum graduation from a recognized institute is a necessary condition. For a successful job, the candidate should have the following skills. -Good communication (verbal and written) Interested in being a team player with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Must have a suitable mobile device

An HR executive said, “There are many women who want to work full time, so we want to open every format including GIG-A to work for everyone including women who want to come and work in branches. In view of this overwhelming response with 3,000 resumes, the bank has increased the limit for hiring for more overtime, he added. Talking about the salary, Axis Bank will decide such employees on the basis of their job, skill and experience.
