Mumbai - The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has released a list of 25 defaulters who are absconding. These defaulters have failed to refund the money to the investors or have not paid the penalty imposed by the regulator in many cases related to the securities market. SEBI said that notices were sent to them between July 2014 and January 2022. The regulator has sent a letter or email to these defaulters to contact the recovery officer of SEBI by March 24, 2022. Giving details about these, SEBI said that its recovery officer has issued recovery certificates against these persons and on Wednesday posted the information of the missing defaulters on its website.
Last known addresses no more traceable
SEBI said that the notices sent by it could not be sent to their last known addresses. In the list released by SEBI, Kanhaiyalal Joshi, Santosh Krishna Pawar, Chetan Mehta, Mukund Yadu Jambhale, Ankit K Agarwal, Jayesh Shah, Sureshkumar P Jain, Praveen Vashisht, Rajesh Tukaram Dambre, Jayesh Kumar Shah, Dahyabhai G Patel, Dalsukhbhai D Patel , Vithalbhai V Gajera. Vinod D Patel, Praveen B Patel, Naveen Kumar Patel, Sunil Kuril, Dilip Hemant Jambhale, Jagdish Jaichandbhai Pandya, Chirag Dineshkumar Shah, Prashant Khankari, Kailash Shriram Agarwal, Dattu Shitole, Jitendra Chandrabhan Singh and Ankit Sancharia figure in the list.
