Mumbai. Electric vehicle company Battre (BattRE) has launched a new electric scooter in the country naming it as BattRE Story. The company has claimed that on a single charge, it will cover a distance of 132 km and it will compete with companies like Ola Electric, Hero Electric, Okinawa, Pure EV. The Better Story electric scooter has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 89,600 (ex-showroom). However, the subsidy available in the states can give more discount on its price.
5 riding modes, Its top speed is 65kmph
The newly launched Better Story electric scooter is made up of metal panels and is powered by a Lucas TVS motor. This electric scooter comes with 5 riding modes: Eco, Comfort, Sport, Reverse and Parking. The electric scooter also comes with follow-me-home lights feature and LED tail lamps. According to the company, the BattRe Story scooter can go up to a top-speed of 65 kmph.
Equipped with advanced features
This scooter is equipped with AIS 156 approved 3.1kWh battery pack. It comes with features like Bluetooth connectivity and integrated smart speedometer with turn by turn navigation. Its special thing is that it will also have the facility of call alert during riding. Connected Drive features have been given in it, which helps in searching the nearest charging stations. For ease, the network can be accessed through the concept of 'pay and charge'.
