Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google's parent company Alphabet, has given this information by writing a letter to the employees. Pichai has said that the company will reduce the pace of recruitment. Recruitment for essential services will continue. The email said that in 2022 and 2023, the company's focus is only on engineering, technology analysis and recruitment of employees for specific positions.
Quota of recruitment full
In the first part of 2022, the company has completed the quota of recruitment of employees. Pichai has written that like other companies, we will not remain untouched by the economic impact. We added 10,000 employees to Google in the second quarter itself. We have almost achieved this year's recruitment target. So we are slowing down the recruitment process for the remaining days. It is clear from Pichai's email that Google is also now seeing an economic slowdown.

Sundar Pichai wrote in the email that, “Like other companies, we are also not untouched by economic adversities. We cannot ignore the uncertain global economic scenario. Pichai said that in 2022 and 2023, the company's focus will be on recruiting employees in engineering, technical and other essential services. Pichai wrote in the email that in the second quarter itself, we have added 10,000 employees to Google. We also intend to recruit staff in the third quarter and this is reflected in our college recruiting calendar. Pichai said that we have almost completed the recruitment target for this year, so we are slowing down the recruitment process for the remaining days of this year.
