Mumbai. Adani has taken another initiative to expand his business empire. Now this group has launched a consumer app 'Adani One' to make air travel more convenient, through which many facilities like flight booking, flight status, cab booking and airport lounge booking will be available in one place. Nitin Sethi, Senior Vice President-Chief Digital Officer, Consumer Business, Adani Group said that it has been launched for Adani Airports. According to Sethi, through this app, passengers will also be able to share their air experience with the company. Efforts will be made to make the journey more convenient on the basis of the feedback received from the passengers. It is available for both Android and iOS users. As of 20 December, the app has been downloaded over 1,000 times. Apart from this, 33 users also gave their review regarding this on Google Play Store.
Country's largest airport operator
Adani Group is the largest airport operator in the country. He has the command of 7 airports in the country. Apart from Mumbai airport, Adani also has 6 other major airports, which include Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Mangaluru, Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram airports. Their management is with Adani Group only. After winning the bidding in 2019, the group has the responsibility to operate these airports for the next 50 years. Adani Group's 6 companies including Adani Transmission, Adani Green Energy, Adani Power, Adani Total Gas, Adani Ports and Adani Wilmar are currently listed in the stock market. Investing Rs 10,700 crore to expand Lucknow airport
Meanwhile, Adani group will invest Rs 10,700 crore into Lucknow airport’s expansion so that its annual passenger handling capacity zooms from 4 million passengers per annum (MPPA) to 39 MPPA. The airport’s expansion plan received clearance from the Union environment ministry on December 15. However, the plan submitted to the ministry did not mention the deadline for the expansion.
