Mumbai. The stock market once again set new records on the fourth trading day of the week reaching a new all-time high of 63,583.07 during trading. The Sensex closed at 63,284 with a gain of 184 points on Thursday and along with this, the Sensex also made its new closing high. 17 out of 30 Sensex stocks saw gains. At the same time, only 13 stocks declined. At the same time, Nifty also created a new all-time high and closing high. The Nifty reached a level of 18,887.60 during trading. Earlier, Nifty also made an all-time high on 30 November and it closed at 18,812 with a gain of 54 points.
UltraTech Cement and Hindalco Top Gainer
23 Nifty stocks gained momentum including UltraTech Cement, Hindalco, Tata Steel, Grasim, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, LT, Infosys. On the other hand, 27 stocks of Nifty including ICICI Bank, UPL, Cipla, Eicher Motors, Bajaj Auto, M&M, Power Grid declined.
The highest growth of 2.40% in the IT sector
Out of 11 sectoral indices of NSE, 7 saw gains. The IT sector gained the most by 2.40%. 2.11% in PSU Bank, 2.08% in Media, 1.98% in Realty and 1.53% in Metal sector. There was also a boom in the bank and financial services sector. There was a decline in the auto, FMCG, pharma and private bank sectors.
