Mumbai. Petrol-diesel prices are continuously increasing across the country, due to which people are turning towards electric vehicles. Now all the auto companies have started switching themselves to electric mode. Omega Seki Mobility Company has announced plans to launch more than 10 thousand electric vehicles in India by March next year.
Electric tractors will be included
The OMS company says that the vehicles to be launched will include two wheelers, three wheelers and electric tractors. Charging stations will also be built at different places to charge these vehicles.
Auto cost Rs 3.40 lakh
The company OSM Electric Three Vehicle and small commercial vehicles are made in Faridabad. Regarding the electric tractors to be launched for the first time in India, the chairman of the company OSM says that in view of the market demand, his company will soon bring drones, tractors and two-wheelers in the market. Earlier this year, it entered India's auto sector by launching an electric three-wheeler. The auto price in Delhi is Rs 3.40 lakh.
Trial started in Korea and Thailand
OSM company chairman Uday Narang says that the company has set up its research-development centers in South Korea and Thailand. The testing of electric tractors has started in these centres. We will launch these tractors in India as soon as these trials are completed. We will also come up with a new concept of servicing and leasing these vehicles in tier II and III cities by the end of the year 2022-23.
