Mumbai. Former Twitter Security Chief Peter Jatko has made serious allegations against the Indian government saying that the government forced the social media company to hire a man who was a "government agent". Its purpose was to access sensitive data of users. The Washington Post, a US news website, published an 84-page complaint report sent to the Securities and Exchange Commission. Jatco's lawyers have sent this report to the National Security Division of the US Justice Department to make this allegation strong and supportive.

Jatko is known as a popular hacker

Jatko is known as a popular hacker. Accusing the Indian government, he portrayed Twitter as a chaotic company in his filing and said that it is unable to properly protect its 238 million daily users. In a section titled 'Penetration by Foreign Intelligence and Threats to Democracy', it is said that Jatko came to know about "multiple episodes" in which Twitter showed him implicated in the dangers of Democratic governance i.e. his policies.

84-page complaint report sent to SEC

Former Twitter security chief Peter Jatko also referred to the Indian government in an 84-page complaint report sent to the Securities and Exchange Commission. The complaint notes that the Indian government forced Twitter to appoint specific individuals, who were government agents, who had access to large amounts of Twitter's sensitive data. Intentionally an Indian government agent was given unsecured direct access to the company's systems and user data. Which is a violation of the company's accountability to its users of Twitter.
